Books and More: Fine Readings

Our book club is not active anymore. However, you are welcome to track what we read on goodreads or instagram. We promise you find lots of inspirations :)

During these strange times, when travelling is not easily available, we’re still able to travel to the most exciting and exotic destinations – through books. Craving to experience this travelling, as well as aiming to diversify our reading, we’ve decided to start our own book club where we can discuss diverse books - both fiction and non-fiction.

While sharing our thoughts about the books, we’re looking forward to learning how to read diversity and how to approach different cultural backgrounds respectfully. We invite you to the journey across countries, continents and cultures. The love for the story, being told by great minds of our times, is the strongest link that we all have in common.

To read or not to read diversely – this question shouldn’t even be raised. Yes, diverse literature does not necessarily have to resonate with us. However, it teaches and reassures us; it provides spot-on observations; it maps and re-maps the bizarreness and intricacies of life, as well as plumbing the depths of various human conditions.

This book club is open to people from different cultures, people with a different attitude toward literature and life, people aiming to experience the richness of literature. Nothing beats sharing different takes on good literature – we’re looking forward to sharing our enjoyment of books together.

We invite you to read at least 12 with care and dedication selected books per year. The freedom to choose if you want to join us each month is always yours!

You could join us on Facebook or follow as via Instagram
